Flat-top loft conversion addressing shared fire escape regulations
This top-floor flat conversion in Greenwich focused on expanding vertical space while navigating complex fire regulations. Shared escape routes, compartmentalisation, and interlinked alarms were all addressed in design.
Protected corridors, fire-rated doors, and discreet safety measures were integrated into a contemporary interior. The result is a bright, airy loft space that meets all regulatory standards.
Spatial layout prioritised flow and views while ensuring all escape paths met approval. Lighting, furniture, and finishes were kept minimal to enhance openness.
This project provides a model for how even compact flats can be safely and stylishly expanded.
