Small flat renovated with personality and efficiency in Barcelona

A client approached us after buying a small flat in Barcelona. With tight constraints on budget and timeline, and a strong dislike for the generic white-and-grey style flooding the market, they wanted something that reflected their personality without going overboard.
We started by reorganising the layout to maximise usable space. Storage was cleverly integrated into walls, ceilings, and furnishings to keep the small space tidy yet flexible. Colours were chosen to reflect light and energy—warm neutrals and accents that added identity without clashing.
Our team designed a compact yet inviting kitchen, and opened up living and dining areas with lightweight furniture. A sliding panel conceals the sleeping zone, ensuring flexibility for both hosting and privacy. Decorative lighting, curated art pieces, and tactile finishes helped distinguish each area while keeping the budget on track.
The result is a flat that feels coherent, inviting, and deeply personal. This project demonstrates how even a modest renovation, guided by intention and creativity, can result in a home that stands out for all the right reasons.
