Cotto Eleganza is a family-run restaurant that merges artisan tradition with modern design. Bespoke cotto tiles, handmade by a local furnace, define the floors and walls in soft geometric compositions.
Contrasting this earthy surface is micro cement, offering a sleek counterpoint. Furnishings are made from solid wood and used to form spatial enclosures. The wine area, chef’s table, and private lounge are framed without walls, using joinery alone.
The restaurant integrates architecture and furniture seamlessly. Lighting, ventilation, and acoustics are all hidden within structural features.
This project reimagines local material culture in a contemporary hospitality setting.
