Flexible family interior with play area and bedroom bath
Madrid House is the redesign of an apartment for a chef and her young daughter. The project centred on creating a highly functional kitchen that also allowed the mother to supervise play while working. A bold use of blue ceramics defines the shared living and cooking area, visually anchoring it and offering character.
The apartment also includes a spa-like bedroom where a freestanding bathtub becomes a focal feature. This detail enhances daily life by blending comfort and functionality. The layout favours openness, natural light, and shared moments.
Furnishings were selected for practicality, colour, and tactile richness. Storage and work zones are seamlessly integrated. The overall effect is a home that suits both adult life and childhood needs without compromise.
