Change-of-use planning for listed site in Chichester

We assisted in securing restaurant approval in a protected building in Chichester. Although based in London, our role was vital due to existing trust networks.
Key constraints included retaining the facade and ensuring reversibility. Kitchen machinery was housed in an internal room with a glassless window to ventilate while preserving aesthetics.
We coordinated leaseholder permissions and local planning consent. Every intervention was temporary, dismantlable, and in line with building character.
This project shows how strategic planning can unlock hospitality use in sensitive locations.
