Phasezero Design Studio is a London-based architecture and interior design practice working across luxury residential projects, sensitive historic building restoration, and bespoke hospitality interiors. Based in West Hampstead, NW6, we take on projects across the UK, Italy, and Spain — from initial concept and planning through to construction delivery and final fit-out. Every project begins before the drawings do.
Architecture and Planning
Architectural design for residential, historic, and hospitality projects across London, the UK, Italy, and Spain. We handle planning applications, listed building consent, and building regulations drawings as a complete service or as a standalone.
Feasibility Study
If you are considering a property purchase and want to understand what is realistically possible before you commit, we carry out pre-acquisition feasibility assessments. We look at planning constraints, listed status, structural opportunities, and layout potential, and give you a clear picture of what the building could become. It is the kind of information that changes the terms of a negotiation, or confirms that a property is worth buying in the first place.

Interior Design
Our interiors begin with the architecture of a room: its proportions, its light, its material character. We design the interior as an integral part of the building rather than a layer applied to it, from space planning and material selection through to bespoke joinery, lighting, kitchens, and the final details.
Procurement
We manage the sourcing and purchasing of materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and bespoke pieces on your behalf. Working through a design studio gives you access to trade pricing that is not available to private buyers, and means the coordination of suppliers, deliveries, and installation is handled as part of the project rather than becoming your responsibility. The savings on procurement often offset a significant part of the design fee.

Design and Build
For clients who want a single point of responsibility across design and construction, we offer an integrated service where architecture, interior design, and build are coordinated under one contract. It simplifies the process, removes the gap between what is designed and what is built, and means you are not managing two separate teams whose interests do not always align.
Historic Buildings and Listed Properties
We have direct experience with listed building consent, conservation officer engagement, period-appropriate materials, and the technical challenges of retrofitting modern performance into historic fabric. This is work we have done, on real buildings, with real constraints.
Project Management and Coordination
We manage the construction phase with the same involvement we bring to design: on site, in communication with contractors, and accountable for the result. Available as a standalone for clients who have a design they believe in and need experienced eyes on site to carry it through.
